Kintore Town House
The Town House in Kintore, dating from the 18th century, stands in the centre of the ancient Royal Burgh. The town's first Royal Charter was granted in the 12th century. The Town House in The Square was built by the Earl of KIntore. A former court house and jail, it is particularly distinctive is its curved double stairway to the council chamber on the first floor.
